Marie Smith
Always at home in the Father's love

Marie SmithMarie Smith is a wife, mother of two grown children, grandmother, teacher, missionary, co-founder of Feed My Lambs Ministries, and founder/ Director of Women of the Light, an outreach to all women. Her vision is to reach the women of all nations with the message of the Father’s love. She presently resides in Rotonda, Florida.

Marie and her husband, Randy, have moved and lived all over the country and ministered in different areas and nations over their thirty six years of marriage.

In June of 2002 they had a Macedonian type of calling to West Virginia. One month after settling into their new hometown of Elkins, Marie had a sweet experience with the Lord. She knew then He was asking her to gather women to worship the Lord and to pray as He led. At the first meeting, held in her small townhouse living room, she met with three other women. They, welcomed the Presence of the Holy Spirit, and watched the Lord begin to unfold to her one of the reasons for the call to West Virginia.

Within the first year of the ministry, there was a need for a larger facility to accommodate the number of women who were hungry for the Presence of God. A miraculous provision of a local community room suddenly supplied ample room for monthly worship and prayer meetings and for the start of Biblical training and equipping courses, and Pastoral Care training for personal prayer ministry.

Marie has encountered the Father Heart of God in such a way that she is compelled to create an atmosphere for others to experience His great love. She honors His presence in every meeting. The Holy Spirit's tangible presence blankets the women as they worship and soak in the river of His love. In this environment they are noticibly changed.

No two meetings are alike. Women of the Light branch leaders model and lead by example the art of waiting upon the Lord to come and to have His Way! Many women have testified to experiencing intimacy with the Lord in ways they had never known was possible. The tangible presence of the Lord comes to heal, deliver and comfort.

It is all about HIM! To God be the Glory.
