Don't we all love the "hundredfold" message? Many times it has been marketed as "give a dollar, get one hundred in return." Our Father is gracious and generous and sometimes that really does happen. But, it is my experience that the Father has so much more in store for us. He doesn't need us playing "let's make a deal."

Taking a closer look at this scripture, as a lover of the Lord, there is so much more to be understood. Jesus was answering his disciples who had really given all to follow Him. In their hearts and in real life they had let go of their "stuff" and even loved ones just to be with Jesus. I think that's the core idea. Are we really willing to love Him more than any thing we own or any other person on this earth?

Here's the challenge. What are you hanging on to that is keeping you from a relationship with Jesus that will be 100 times more exciting and rewarding than any thing this world has to offer? Look at your ''stuff" is it standing between you and really knowing, loving, and serving Jesus? Desire the "Hundredfold". But, make it be all about HIM!
