"A Call to Children of Faith"



One day in October of 2008, while writing in my journal I cried out to the Lord. "Abba, Jesus, Holy Spirit I want to be free to fly unencumbered. To fly by faith, to soar into the future free to remain in peace, Your peace that overrides anything I can or cannot understand. The whole of Hebrews chapter eleven talks about all the people who did things "by faith". I see that people of faith can either recieve or not receive the promises.

By faith Abel offered a better sacrifice, Enoch pleased God so much he did not experience death he suddenly just went to be face to face with God. By faith Noah built an ark, Abraham had a son, Joseph gave the Israelites instruction about his bones, Rahab welcomed spies and was spared death. And so on.

But, "others were stoned, sawed in half, ....persecuted and mistreated and they are commended for their faith without receiving the promises." Heb. 11;37 Father, You will never fail us. We will not fear the future, as you are with us today you will be with us and for us tomorrow. Thank you Father."

The Father's response to me had that "feel" that the words were for you also. Maybe not today, but you might want to drop this in your "read later" folder.

"You have been asking me to change the way you think, to fill in the old pathways; the ruts that have been well worn in your pattern of thinking. I am coming to do just that. Breaking out of cultural ways of thinking is not easy. But it is oh so necessary in this season. Things are not going to be the same ol' same ol'. The shifting that is about to take place in your country will require my children to be able to think kingdom minded thoughts.

In My kingdom there is no lack, no fear, no sickness, no disease, no hindrances, no doubt and unbelief.

It is important, more important than ever to be heavenly minded. Guard your heart with all diligence, to keep the focus of your eyes, ears, and thoughts upon My Word and the things of My Spirit. He will instruct you on a daily basis where to go, what to do and even what to eat or to not eat or drink. He will be that involved with those who desire His counsel. But for those who choose to live by the wisdom of the world they will find that their steps will be hindered and their ruin will be great! This is not my will. This is not my plan for any of My children, but I must always leave people free to make their own choices.

Choose this day and every day whom you will serve and trust! The temptations to serve self and to trust in old ways of handling situations will be strong. But you, Children of Faith must continue to walk by faith and not by sight or hearing."
